Real wages in Ukraine in January 2018 rose by 12.3% y-o-y.
The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine grew by 12.1% in January 2018 from December 2017, while it rose by 28.4% year-over-year (y-o-y), to UAH 7,711, or US$289.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the minimum wage in Ukraine grew on January 1, 2018, to UAH 3,723 ($140) from UAH 3,200 (US$120). The government plans to consider a further increase to UAH 4,200 ($157) in the second quarter of this year if the necessary economic growth is achieved.
Full-time employees who received wages from UAH 6,000 ($225) to UAH 10,000 ($375) in December 2017 accounted for 49.6%, which was 2.7 percentage points up from March 2017.
Ukraine's government forecasts an increase in the average wage in 2018 to UAH 10,000.
