Ukraine sees 11.5% rise in average prices of farm produce in 2017

Over the period under review, prices of crops increased by 7.3%, while those of livestock produce grew by 30.7%.

Ukraine's agricultural enterprises in 2017 raised average sale prices of farm produce by 11.5% against 2016.

Prices of farm produce in December 2017 were 2.9% up from November 2017. In particular, crops went up in price by 3.2%, while prices of livestock produce increased by 1%.

Average prices of farm produce in December 2017 rose by 12.1% year-over-year. In particular, prices of crops grew by 9.7%, while those of livestock products rose by 22%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the average sale prices of farm produce in Ukraine in 2016 climbed by 9% against 2015. Crops went up in price by 16.3% in 2016, while prices of livestock products increased by 1.7%.
