EU countries, India, Egypt, China among biggest buyers of Ukrainian farm produce in 2017

European Union countries, India, Egypt, and China were among the biggest buyers of Ukrainian farm produce and food in 2017.

EU countries alone bought farm produce and food to the tune of $5.6 billion, the Ukrainian Economy Development and Trade Ministry's press service said.

Farm produce and food exports from Ukraine in 2017 increased by 16.2% from 2016, to $17.8 billion, he said.

As UNIAN reported, exports of agricultural products and food in 2017 accounted for 41% of the total Ukrainian exports.
