Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 32.29/32.33, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4770/0.4779.
The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate set for March 12 by 25 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.09 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for March 12:
US$100 cost UAH 2,609.3953 (UAH 2,634.8957 as of March 7);
EUR 100 cost UAH 3,240.0861 (UAH 3,270.1691 as of March 7);
10 RUB cost UAH 4.5939 (UAH 4.6632 as of March 7).

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Wednesday, March 7, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.01/26.05 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 32.29/32.33, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4770/0.4779.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 16:00 was UAH 26.0937 to the dollar, with 570 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $539.82 million.
