President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko registered in the Verkhovna Rada Bill "On currency", defining it as urgent.
As reported on the parliamentary website, the bill was registered today, March 19.
The text of the document is not yet available on the website.
During his meeting with CEOs on March 12, the head of state promised to submit for Rada's consideration the bill earlier approved by the National Reform Council.
According to the president, once the law is passed, currency control will be canceled for more than 40% of transactions, as well as registration of loans from non-residents and licensing of investment operations abroad.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine developed a draft law on currency, designed to ensure high-quality regulation of the foreign exchange market.
