Retail trade in Ukraine jumps by 7.5% since Jan

Retail trade in Ukraine in the first two months of 2018 jumped by 7.5% year-over-year.

Ukraine's State Statistics Service has not announced figures in monetary terms yet.

The highest increase in retail trade was reported in Zakarpattia, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and Cherkasy regions – by 12.8%, 11.5%, 11.5%, 10.6%, 10.2%, and 9.3%, respectively.

Retail turnover in February 2018 alone fell by 5.4% from January 2018, but grew by 5.6% from February 2017.

As UNIAN reported earlier, retail trade in Ukraine in 2017 rose by 8.8% in comparable prices, to UAH 816.553 billion, or US$31.41 billion.
