Ukraine, the Netherlands launch cooperation in renewable energy

Ukraine and the Netherlands have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of renewable energy.

To sign off the Memorandum, the parties met in Utrecht. The Ukrainian side was represented by Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Sergiy Savchuk, while the Dutch side -- by Head of the national enterprise agency Barto Piersma, the press service of the Ukrainian agency reports, according to Censor.net.

Within the framework of the signed document, the sides committed to exchange information on best practices of introducing green energy and mechanisms for their financing, as well as to promote business ties between Ukrainian and Dutch companies for implementing joint investment projects in the field of renewable energy.
