Average wage in Ukraine up to almost $300

Real wages in January 2018 compared with January 2017 increased by 10.5%.

The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine in February 2018 increased by 26.1% year-over-year, amounting to UAH 7,828 (US$298) per month.

As reported by the State Statistics Service, compared to January 2018, the average salary increased by 1.5%. Real wages in February 2018 compared with February 2017 increased by 10.5%, and compared with January 2018 - by 0.6%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, since January 1, 2018, the minimum wage in Ukraine has increased to UAH 3,723 from UAH 3,200.

Stats say the share of full-time employees with wages ranging between UAH 6,000 ($228) and UAH 10,000 in December 2017 stood at 49.6%, which is 2.7 percentage points more than in March 2017.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine forecasts an increase in the average wage in Ukraine in 2018 up to UAH 10,000 ($380).
