The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has ordered the creation of the Government's Export Promotion Office (EPO), which previously functioned as a project team at Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Ministry.

"The government backed the initiative by the Economic Development Ministry and Stepan Ivanovych [Kubiv, Minister of Economic Development and Trade] to establish a state institution, namely the Export Promotion Office," Ukraine's Trade Envoy Nataliya Mykolska told a briefing held in Kyiv on March 28.

According to Mykolska, the state will invest in providing services for Ukrainian exporters.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Export Promotion Office, as a project team under the Economic Development Ministry, was established in July 2016.
