In 2015, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers terminated a 1993 intergovernmental agreement on military-technical cooperation with Russia, as well as denounced a 1993 agreement with the Russian government on industrial, scientific and technical cooperation between defense enterprises.
In 2017, the Cabinet severed intergovernmental agreements with Russia on cooperation in exports of military products to third countries (dated 2003) and on preserving the profile of enterprises and organizations involved in the production of military goods (dated 2000).
