Ukrainian Treasury's balance down 16% in March

The balance in the single account as of April 1, 2018, shrank by 75% from the figure reported April 1, 2017.

The balance of funds in the single account of Ukraine's State Treasury Service was estimated at UAH 8.309 billion (US$315.8 million) as of April 1, which was 16% down from the figure seen March 1, 2018.

The balance of funds in the single account as of April 1, 2018, shrank by 75% from the figure reported on April 1, 2017, having grown by 63% from the beginning of 2018, according to the website of Ukraine's State Treasury Service.

The balance of funds in the single treasury account is not a constant value. It is subject to increases due to revenues from taxes and other mandatory payments to the state and local budgets and subject to decreases amid budget spending peaks.
