Ukrzaliznytsia may raise ticket prices by 12% in April

Ukrainian state-run railways operator JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has said the cost of tickets may grow by 12% from April 2018.

The same increase will take place in October, Hromadske reports, citing acting CEO of Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov.

The received funds are planned to be spent on the development of passenger infrastructure.

The order of the Ministry of Infrastructure on raising tariffs for railway passenger transportations is still under consideration, Ukrzaliznytsia said.
