EC to support Ukraine in ensuring Russia's implementation of Stockholm Arbitration awards

The European Commission will support Ukraine in ensuring Russian Gazprom's implementation of the awards handed down by the Stockholm Arbitration, according to which the Russian gas monopoly must pay $2.56 billion to the national oil and gas holding company Naftogaz of Ukraine.

The European Commission will support Ukraine so that decisions of the Stockholm Arbitration are implemented and will ask both parties to adhere to arbitration decisions, according to Dominique Ristori, Director-General of the EC's Directorate-General for Energy, who spoke at a briefing in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, an UNIAN correspondent reports.
