Ryanair's Kyiv-Berlin flight to be launched on Sept 3

The number of Ryanair's flights from Kyiv will grow to 11.

Ryanair has started selling tickets for direct flights between Kyiv, Ukraine, and Berlin, Germany.

The first such flight is scheduled for September 3, this is almost two months earlier than it was originally planned, according to Ryanair's booking system.

The one-way fare starts from EUR 27.53.

According to the website, flights between Kyiv's Boryspil and Berlin's Schoenefeld will be carried out four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays.

Thus, the number of Ryanair's flights from Kyiv will grow to 11.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian authorities concluded a contract with Ireland's Ryanair late in March 2018. It was reported then that the airlines would launch 15 flights from Ukraine with the lowest fare set at EUR 10 starting from the end of October or the beginning of November.

In particular, it was reported that the company would operate flights from Kyiv to Barcelona (3 flights a week), Bratislava (3), Warsaw (4), Vilnius (3), Wroclaw (3), Gdansk (2), Krakow (3), Poznan 2), Stockholm (3), London Stansted Airport (5). Its planes will also fly from Lviv to Warsaw (3 flights a week), Dusseldorf (3), Krakow (3), Memmingen (2) and London Luton Airport (3).
