Thus, the ruling earlier passed by Moscow's Arbitration Court on January 10, 2018, has remained in force, the Russian RBC News Agency reported with reference to the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

On March 1, the appeals court confirmed the rejection of SGTT's claim over the supply of turbines to Crimea.

It became known in July 2017, that Siemens turbines were supplied to the Russian annexed Crimea, despite EU sanctions. Technopromexport announced that the equipment had been purchased on the secondary market and upgraded at Russian plants.

The German concern filed a lawsuit demanding that two contracts for the supply of four turbines to Russia be recognized null and void. The equipment was eventually delivered to Crimea. The company claimed it had been misled, since the contract mentioned Krasnodar Krai as the final destination. The German concern was even ready to return money to Rostec. This lawsuit was dismissed by the Russian court.
