Ukrainian central bank's net international reserves shrink to US$6.34 bln in March

Since the beginning of the year, the current level of the net international reserves has declined.

The net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in March 2018 shrank by 1.8%, to US$6.343 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the NBU's net international reserves in February 2018 grew by 4.2%, to US$6.421 billion. However, they shrunk by 3.8% in January-February 2018.

Ukraine's total international reserves stood at $18.191 billion as of April 1, 2018, which was 3.3% down against the figure recorded at the beginning of the year.

Building up net international reserves is one of Ukraine's obligations under the cooperation program with the International Monetary Fund.
