The terms will meet the priorities of the development of the Ukrainian economy, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported.
Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk met with EC Vice President for the Euro and Social Dialogue, Valdis Dombrovskis to discuss issues of the EU's fourth macro-financial assistance program for Ukraine and conditions for allocating the first tranche of the assistance package.
"The parties stressed that these conditions will be in line with the priorities of the development of the Ukrainian economy and will be aimed at strengthening our country's financial and economic stability, overcoming corruption, and continuing the implementation of structural reforms," the press service said.

In turn, Valdis Dombrovskis noted that the European Commission positively assesses changes that have taken place in Ukraine over the recent years. At the same time, he stressed that Ukraine needs to complete a number of important reforms that will give impetus to the development of the economy and strengthen the fight against corruption.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine failed to take two prior actions to receive the next tranche of the International Monetary Fund's loan, according to minister Danyliuk.
