The two-day visit has been organised by the European Commission's Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX), in cooperation with the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
On May 2-4, an expert from Romania will visit Ukraine to support the country's State Statistics Service to further improve the methodology currently used to calculate structural business statistics.

The event aims to stimulate comprehensive discussion of Ukraine's methodology for calculating "production value" and "value added at factor costs" indicators, in line with EU standards. The EU expert will also assess the methodology used by the Ukrainian authorities, with the aim of identifying gaps and providing possible recommendations, EU Neighbours East reported.
