In particular, during 2017, key management personnel consisting of six Executive Board members and nine directors received UAH 179.5 million ($6.8 million) in salary and additional current bonuses. In 2016, four Executive Board members and six directors earned UAH 86.6 million, according to the Naftogaz's financial statements for 2017.
Members of the Supervisory Board received UAH 24.5 million ($934,045) in service fees and in compensation of expenses incurred by the Board members while performing their duties. In 2016, such payments amounted to UAH 20.07 million ($765,154).
It was earlier reported that in 2017 Naftogaz became a profitable business, having improved its financial result by 48% (plus UAH 12.8 billion), to UAH 39.3 billion against 2016.
