Next year Ukraine International Airlines will start Transatlantic flights from Lviv, according to the Lviv Airport CEO Tetiana Romanovska.
As the Lviv portal reports, she noted that the queue is Chicago or Toronto. "We are really actively working on the Transatlantic direction, both with UIA and foreign airlines," Romanovska said, speaking at the ceremony to launch Lviv-London flights, according to Lvivskyi Portal.

Roman Kokotailo, the head of Road Facilities, Transport and Communications Department at the Lviv Regional State Administration, said: "It is very important to connect Lviv with the wold's three major stock capitals: London, New York and Tokyo. Today, the first step has already been made."
As UNIAN reported earlier, UIA launched direct flights to India.
