At the same time, 14 banks over the period under review posted losses.
Ukrainian solvent banks in January-March 2018 (Q1) received UAH 8.672 billion (US$331 million) in profit, which was up 1.7 times from UAH 5.086 billion ($194 million) year-over-year (y-o-y).
In particular, 68 out of 82 operating banks posted profit with the largest figures reported by PrivatBank (UAH 3.654 billion/$139.5 million), Raiffeisen Bank Aval (UAH 1.381 billion/$52.7 million) and OTP Bank (UAH 612.6 million/$23.4 million), according the banks' balance lists as of April 1, published on the central bank's website.

As UNIAN reported earlier, net profit of Ukrainian solvent banks in January-February 2018 was estimated at UAH 3.998 billion ($152.7 million), which was 7.1% up y-o-y.
