Revenues of local budgets across Ukraine rise 23% in Jan-April

Kyiv budget over the same period increased by UAH 2 billion (US$76 million).

Revenues of local budgets in January-April of 2018 compared with the same period last year grew by 23%, or UAH 13 billion ($494 million), to UAH 69.2 billion ($2.62 billion).

"The growth of development budgets compared with last year was seen in all regions of Ukraine: by UAH 141 million [$5.36 million] in Luhansk region to almost UAH 1.4 billion [$53 million] in Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine's leader. The budget of the city of Kyiv grew by UAH 2 billion," Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utility Services of Ukraine, Hennady Zubko, wrote on Facebook.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's national budget in January-April 2018 received UAH 272.448 billion (US$10.4 billion) in revenue, which was UAH 5.091 billion ($194.6 million), or 1.8%, below the target.
