Ukrainian metallurgists earned $3.488 billion from ferrous metal exports in the first four months.
Their earnings from exports of ferrous metals in January-April 2018 were 32.2% up year-over-year, Ukraine's State Fiscal Service reported.
Their share in the country's exports was 22.57%, it said.

According to the report, metalware exports increased by 34%, to $351.4 million, accounting for 2.27% of the country's total exports.
At the same time, imports of ferrous metals increased by 32.3% to $385.3 million while shipments of metalware from abroad grew by 18.2%, to $267.8 million.
As reported by UNIAN, Ukraine in 2017 increased revenue from exports of ferrous metals by 19.6% to $8.7 billion. Earnings from metalware exports last year were 30% up to $896.7 million.
