Ukraine's central bank registers new payment system

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has registered a new system for the transfer of funds "Globus," having issued a relevant certificate to Globus Bank.

The system will handle cash and non-cash transactions by individuals and legal entities, according to the NBU's website.

The Globus system became the eighteenth international payment system in the Ukrainian market.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank created all conditions at the regulatory level for Apple Pay to operate in Ukraine. According to the regulator, the launch of the payment service depends on reaching an agreement between the interested card-issuing banks, international card payment systems, and Apple Pay.
