On Wednesday, May 16, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.18/26.20 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 26 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 30.88 to the euro.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for May 17:
US$100 costs UAH 2,620.8170 (on May 16, it was UAH 2,621.0807);
EUR 100 costs UAH 3,088.3708 (on May 16, it was UAH 3,114.6302);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.2065 (on May 16, it was UAH 4.2333).
On Wednesday, May 16, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.18/26.20 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 30.89/30.92, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4081/0.4087.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.2082 to the dollar, with 536 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $406.88 million.
