The country's consolidated budget over the period under review saw a surplus of US$1.3 billion.
The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-April 2018 was estimated at UAH 20.587 billion, or US$788.5 million, against a surplus at UAH 19.435 billion, or US$744.4 million, year-over-year (y-o-y).
The country's consolidated budget over the period under review saw a surplus of UAH 33.202 billion (US$1.3 billion), which was 14% down on the surplus of UAH 38.590 billion (US$1.5 billion) y-o-y, according to Ukraine's Treasury Service.

The surplus of the local budgets alone was estimated at UAH 20.620 billion (US$789.7 million) over the period under review.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the deficit of Ukraine's national budget in 2017 was estimated at UAH 47.850 billion, or US$1.8 billion, which was 33.4% down on 2016.
The deficit of Ukraine's national budget for 2018 is capped at UAH 80.6 billion (US$3 billion), or 2.4% of GDP.
