Ukraine's government has approved the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine until 2030.
Ukraine's Infrastructure Ministry plans to build 10 highways on concession terms by 2030, and the construction of the first highway is to start next year.
"Our vision is 10 highways that will connect all parts of Ukraine. They should be built on concession terms of toll roads. I hope that the construction of the first road will begin next year," Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said at the Ukrainian Ports Forum in Odesa while presenting Ukraine's transport strategy until 2030.

"The first direction is the well-known stretch between Lviv and Krakovets, and then Kyiv and Bila Tserkva," the minister said.
Omelyan also said that a number of other roads would be built.
"[It is] Go Highway (Gdansk – Odesa) whose construction began during Groysman's premiership. Also, it is the Via Carpathia highway, the extension of Odesa – Reni to Greece. Also, [it includes] the development of domestic routes: Lviv – Kyiv – Kharkiv – Donetsk, Kyiv – Kerch, Poltava – Dnipro," he said.
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers on May 30 approved the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine until 2030, titled "Drive Ukraine 2030." The goals of the strategy are the integration of Ukraine into the global economy and a technological leap in infrastructure.
