The ProZorro public e-procurement system has allowed Ukraine saving UAH 50.15 billion, or US$1.9 billion, of budget funds since August 1, 2016, due to use of the system of all state customers.

As UNIAN reported earlier, ProZorro e-procurement system was distributed in Ukraine to all government customers from August 1, 2016 for purchasing goods worth more than UAH 200,000 ($7,657) and services exceeding UAH 1.5 million ($57,427). Price is the key criterion for winning a tender via ProZorro, while the economy of public funds is achieved through market competition.
In 2017, Ukraine conducted public procurement worth UAH 500.3 billion ($19.2 billion) via ProZorro.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko earlier said the ProZorro public e-procurement system allowed Ukraine saving UAH 27 billion ($1 billion) in 2017.
