Costs of construction and assembly services in Ukraine rose by 23.4% in January-April 2018 year-over-year (y-o-y).

Over the period under review, costs of construction and assembly of civil engineering facilities, as well as commercial buildings and complex industrial facilities increased most of all, by 28.1% and by 23.8%, respectively. The lowest increase was recorded in the construction of pipelines, communications, and power lines, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Costs of construction and installation works in April 2018 alone grew by 1.2% compared to March 2018, whereas there was a 2% increase in March 2018 from February 2018.
The State Statistics Service said the report did not include data from the temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, as well as Russian-occupied Donbas in the east of Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, construction and assembly costs in Ukraine rose by 13.4% in 2017 against 2016.
