Producers' own funds remain a major source of capital investment.
Investment in Ukraine's agriculture, hunting and provision of related services in January-March 2018 (Q1) was estimated at UAH 10.5 billion (US$401.8 million), which is 9.5% up year-over-year (y-o-y).

Over the period under review, investment in the production of food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to UAH 4.5 billion ($172.2 million), which was 56% up y-o-y, according to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry's press service.
At the same time, producers' own funds remain a major source of capital investment (76.2%).
As UNIAN reported earlier, investment projects implemented in the country's agrarian sector in the first quarter of 2017 were estimated at UAH 37 billion ($1.4 billion), according to the ministry.
