Inflation in Ukraine slows to 11.7% in May in annual terms

There has been a zero increase in prices against the previous month.

Inflation in Ukraine in May 2018 in annual terms, compared with May 2017, was recorded at 11.7%, slowing down after 13.1% recorded in the same terms in April.

According to the latest data posted on the website of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, compared with the previous month, consumer prices in Ukraine have not increased. Against December 2017, they rose by 4.4%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank transferred almost $650 mln to state budget in May. Since year-start, some UAH 32 billion ($1.2 billion) has been transferred.
