The National Bank of Ukraine on Monday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate set for June 12 by four kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.09 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for June 12:
US$100 cost UAH 2,609.1315 (UAH 2,613.6416 as of June 11);
EUR 100 cost UAH 3,076.1660 (UAH 3,072.0743 as of June 11);
10 RUB cost UAH 4.1851 (UAH 4.1706 as of June 11).
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Monday, June 11, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market by the middle of trade settled at UAH 26.08/26.09 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 30.42/30.44, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4189/0.4195.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.0913 to the dollar, with 412 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $270.32 million.
