Ukraine exports to Czech Republic up 32% in 1Q

Compared with the same period last year, exports to the Czech Republic expanded by 209 commodity items, bringing another US$12 million.

Ukrainian exports to the Czech Republic in the first quarter of 2018 increased by 32%, or by $53.2 million compared to the same period last year, that is, up to $217.7 million.

Compared with the same period last year, Ukrainian exports to the Czech Republic expanded by 209 commodity items, which brought another $12 million, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

The report says Ukraine and the Czech Republic on Tuesday held a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial, scientific and technical cooperation, aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.

UNIAN memo. In 2017, 40.2% of Ukrainian exports to the Czech Republic were ores, slags and ashes, 22.5% - electrical machines, 7.8% - ferrous metals, 4.1% - wood and wood products, 3.8% mineral fuels, oil and refined products.
