Ukrainian central bank's net international reserves grow to almost US$7 bln in May

Since the beginning of the year, the current level of the net international reserves has increased.

The net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in May 2018 grew by 3.8%, to US$6.955 billion.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBU net reserves have expanded by 4.2%, according to the NBU website.

UNIAN memo. The NBU's net international reserves in 2017 increased by 58.5%, to $6.696 billion.

Ukraine's total international reserves stood at $18.120 billion as of June 1, 2018, which was 2.5% down against the figure recorded at the beginning of the year.

Building up net international reserves is one of Ukraine's obligations under the cooperation program with the International Monetary Fund.
