Designers are considering arming the new piece with Ukrainian-made Stuhna and Korsar anti-tank systems.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine may receive a new Novator armored car – it is considered as one of the possible options for this type of equipment to be put into service.
"I've heard the report of those responsible regarding the testing process on the possibility of this vehicle's further supply to the Ukrainian troops. Now we are considering the issue of arming this vehicle with Ukrainian-made Stuhna and Korsar anti-tank systems," Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said during a June 14 inspection, according to the ministry's press service.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Valentyn Badrak, a Ukrainian military expert and writer, director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies, said Ukrainian Skif and Korsar anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) had recently proved to perform no worse than the U.S.-made Javelins.
