Ukrainian gas reserves grow to 10.4 bcm within week

Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) on June 9-16 rose by 3.7%, or 374 million cubic meters, from 10.032 billion cubic meters to 10.406 bcm.

Some 53.84 bcm of gas was injected into the USFs as of June 16, according to the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz.

As reported, the country's USFs are filled by 33% as of today, June 18.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on April 13, 2018, Ukrtransgaz stopped pumping gas from storage facilities and began injecting it in the amount of 19-28 million cubic meters per day.

Ukraine started 2018 with 14.7 bcm gas in its USFs, which was the largest gas stock as of the beginning of the year in the past five years.
