About 40 employees who worked on the relevant arbitration have already received remuneration.
Chief Commercial Officer of National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko says the company's employees have already received the first part of the remuneration worth US$20.7 million due to the Naftogaz's victory over Russia's Gazprom in the Stockholm Arbitration.

"Almost $21 million have already been paid as remuneration. And the remaining sum, about $25 million, will be paid only after the money from Gazprom is received," he told the Novoe Vremya news outlet on June 18.
According to Vitrenko, about 40 employees who worked on the relevant arbitration have already received remuneration.
"As a result of this process, the Naftogaz team has earned a lot of money for Ukraine: about $4.6 billion is related only to the decision on the [gas] transit. So, this was hard and conscientious work. Naftogaz has already received a financial result of $2.1 billion out of $4.6 billion. This is a lot of money not only for Naftogaz, but also for all Ukraine, since $2.1 billion is about 2% of [the country's] GDP," he added.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Naftogaz Supervisory Board decided to pay $46.3 million remuneration to its employees due to the victory at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in a dispute with Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom over a transit contract. Gazprom must pay the Ukrainian company $4.6 billion.
In turn, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymry Groysman appealed to the Supervisory Board of the National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine to review the recent decision to pay $46.3 million remuneration to its employees due to the company's victory over Russia's Gazprom in the Stockholm Arbitration.
