Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman predicts the average monthly wage in the country may amount to UAH 10,000 by the end of 2018.

Speaking at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy, during which a report on the progress and results of the program of activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 2017 was presented, he said the wage growth in Ukraine had amounted to 19% for the first five months of this year, which gives grounds for such a forecast, an UNIAN correspondent reports.
"Our task is to increase the incomes of citizens ahead of inflationary processes," he said.
