Ukraine's Finance Ministry borrows almost UAH 956.6 mln on domestic market

Ukraine's Finance Ministry has borrowed UAH 956.566 million (US$36.5 million) for the national budget at the latest weekly auction to place government domestic loan bonds.

Hryvnia funds were raised through the placement of securities with 1,071-, 98-day maturity periods and a weighted average yield of 15% and 17.35% per annum, respectively, according to the ministry's website.

No foreign currency bonds have been placed.

UNIAN memo. As of June 26, government securities in circulation were worth UAH 744.768 billion in principal debt, while the National Bank of Ukraine owned bonds worth UAH 350.325 billion, or 47% of their total volume.
