Up to 9 million Ukrainians take part in seasonal labor migration.
Ukrainian Social Policy Minister Andriy Reva says more than 3.2 million Ukrainians work abroad on a permanent basis.

"Over 3.2 million Ukrainian citizens are constantly working abroad," he said while presenting a project in Kyiv on July 3 on increasing the inclusiveness of the labor market in Ukraine.
According to the official, up to 9 million Ukrainians take part in seasonal labor migration.
At the same time, Reva noted that the increase in labor market efficiency involves ensuring the employment of internally displaced persons, de-shadowing of employment, and reducing unemployment among young people.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman considered it was possible to stop labor migration from Ukraine within a few years.
He says the key task of the government in combating labor migration is to raise wages and improve the quality of workplaces.
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, about 36% of Ukrainian labor migrants are engaged in work that does not require skills. At the same time, 26.8% of labor migrants work abroad according to their qualifications, while almost 30% do not work within their specialty.
