The economy may grow as much as 3% in 2019.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine has improved its forecast of the country's GDP growth in 2018 from 3% to 3.2%.
The economy may grow 3% in 2019, 3.8% in 2020, and 4.1% in 2021, according to the ministry's forecast of social and economic development, approved at a government meeting on Wednesday, July 11.
However, a new inflation outlook for 2018 worsened from 9% to 9.9%.
Prices may rise by 7.4% in 2019 and drop by 5% in 2021, the report said.
The ministry forecasts that Ukraine's real GDP in 2021 will exceed by 1.6% the figure reported in 2013.
