Ukrainian Pension Fund's expenses grow by 39.9% since year-start

Expenses of Ukraine's Pension Fund in the first half of 2018 grew by 39.9%, or by UAH 49.7 billion, year-over-year, to UAH 174.3 billion ($6.63 billion).

In the first half of the year, the Fund received UAH 167.9 billion (US$6.38 billion), including UAH 95.5 billion its own funds, the organization said on its website.

Receipts of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the first quarter of 2018 grew by 32.2% year-over-year, to UAH 44.261 billion (US$1.68 billion).

As UNIAN reported, payments of the Pension Fund of Ukraine for 2017 amounted to UAH 291.5 billion, or US$11.08 billion (taking into account the payment of December 2017 pensions in January 2018 in the amount of UAH 10 billion), which was 13%, or UAH 38.1 billion up on in 2016.
