New projects of the Ukrainian aviation industry were showcased as well.
Ukraine's multipurpose military transport aircraft An-178, built by Kyiv-based state-owned Antonov, has made its demo flight at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow, which has started in the UK.

The relevant video was posted on the official Facebook page of Ukraine's state-run military-industrial concern Ukroboronprom.
In addition, specialists and visitors of the Ukrainian booth at the Farnborough Airshow are able to see new projects of the Ukrainian aviation industry, namely the An-188 multi-purpose military transport aircraft and the An-148MP maritime patrol aircraft.
The 2018 Farnborough International Airshow covers aircraft of all types and purposes, aircraft and space engines, satellites, repair and maintenance of aviation equipment, radars and surveillance systems, avionics, ground equipment, etc.
The airshow takes place every two years being the largest show in the UK and one of the most important in the world. This year, the Farnborough Airshow is held on July 16-22.
