Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market as of 1251 on Tuesday had slid to UAH 15.65/15.98 to the dollar, compared to UAH 15.52/15.87 at Monday’s close of trade, according to online financial Web site UkrDealing.
Against the euro, the hryvnia on Tuesday dropped to UAH 19.34/19.74 compared with UAH 19.05/19.48 on Monday, UkrDealing said.
Quotations of the hryvnia against the Russian ruble were UAH 0.28/0.29.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine dropped the exchange rate of the Ukrainian national currency the hryvnia by 11 kopiykas against the dollar on Monday.
As of 1400 on December 8 the central bank had set the following official exchange rates for the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:
$100 – UAH 1,552.5710 (as of 1400 on December 5 it was UAH 1,541.5499);
EUR 100 – UAH 1,919.2883 (as of 1400 on December 5 it was UAH 1,897.8021);
10 Russian rubles – UAH 2.9234 (as of 1400 on December 5 it was UAH 2.9255).
