Naftogaz from August 1 will raise by 1%, to UAH10,130 per 1,000 cubic meters, minimum gas prices for industrial consumers. The ceiling will be up 1.7%, up to UAH 11,083.
National joint-stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine from August 1 will raise the minimum price of natural gas for industrial consumers by 1.8% compared to July, up to UAH 10,130.4 from UAH 9,952.8 per 1,000 cubic meters, the company said.
The maximum prices for industrial consumers will from August 1 be increased by 1.7%, to UAH 11,083.2 from UAH 10,893.6 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters.
The company notes that price proposals are differentiated depending on the volume of purchase, terms of payment and the state of previous settlements.

If the buyer has no debts before Naftogaz or is ready to purchase at least 50,000 cubic meters of gas per month, it will be offered a minimum price.
In all other cases, a higher price is applied.
All prices include VAT.
As UNIAN reported, on October 1, 2015, a new law on the natural gas market came into force in Ukraine, depriving the National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission of the right to establish gas prices for industrial consumers.
In July, Naftogaz retained gas prices at their June level. Minimum gas prices for industrial consumers remained at the level of UAH 9,952.8 per 1,000 cubic meters, with the ceiling of UAH 10,893.6.
