Ukraine's state debt grows to US$76.3 bln in June

The Ukrainian government plans to reduce the level of state and government-guaranteed debt to 60% of GDP by 2020 from 72% at the end of 2017.

Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in dollar terms in June 2018 grew by 0.04%, or US$0.03 billion, to US$76.29 billion as of June 30.

The volume of public debt in the hryvnia equivalent for this period increased by 0.25%, or UAH 4.95 billion, to UAH 1.998 trillion, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry's website said.

The volume of public debt decreased by 0.02% in dollar terms and by 6.7% in the hryvnia equivalent compared to the indicator recorded at the beginning of 2018.

The government plans to reduce the level of state and government-guaranteed debt to 60% of GDP by 2020 from 72% at the end of 2017.
