The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-June 2018 was estimated at UAH 9.782 billion, or US$365.5 million, against a surplus at UAH 29.032 billion, or $1 billion, year-over-year (y-o-y).

The country's consolidated budget over the period under review was in surplus, totaling UAH 10.402 billion ($388.7 million), which was 80% down on a surplus of UAH 52.142 billion ($1.9 billion) y-o-y, according to Ukraine's Treasury Service.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the deficit of Ukraine's national budget in 2017 was estimated at UAH 47.850 billion, or $1.8 billion, which was 33.4% down from 2016.
The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in 2018 is set at UAH 80.6 billion ($3 billion), or 2.4% of GDP.
