Ukrnafta boosts net profit by 54.3% in H1

Ukraine's largest oil producer, Ukrnafta, boosted its net profit by 54.3% in January-June 2018 (H1) year-over-year (y-o-y), to UAH 2.06 billion (US$77 million).

Ukrnafta's net revenue from sales of products over the period under review rose by 21.63% y-o-y, to UAH 16.76 billion ($626.3 million), according to the company's quarterly report published in the National Securities and Stock Market Commission's information disclosure system.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the company reported UAH 444 million ($16.6 million) in net profit in 2017 against UAH 8.739 billion ($326.6 million) in net loss in 2016.

UNIAN memo. Ukrnafta is the largest state-owned oil and gas company in Ukraine. It accounts for about 70% of oil and condensate production, and 11% of gas extraction in the country. Ukrnafta is one of the key players in the retail market for petroleum products in Ukraine: the company owns more than 560 fuel filling stations throughout the country.
