Motor Sich's net profit shrinks by over 60% in H1

The company's revenue from sales over the period under review fell by 14.8%, to $217.1 million.

Zaporizhia-based JSC Motor Sich, Ukraine's largest manufacturer of airplane and helicopter engines, saw its net profit shrink in January-June 2018 (H1) by over 60% year-over-year (y-o-y), to UAH 902.2 million (US$33.7 million).

Motor Sich's revenue from sales of products over the period under review fell by 14.8% y-o-y, to UAH 5.81 billion ($217.1 million), according to the company's quarterly report published in the National Securities and Stock Market Commission's information disclosure system.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Motor Sich increased its net profit by 51.6% in 2017, to UAH 3.1 billion ($115.8 million) from UAH 2.044 billion ($76.4 million) in 2016.
