The verification was conducted by authorized representatives of the Ukrainian and Israeli government delegations in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel, as part of preparations for signing, the ministry's press service said on August 1.

"The parties verified the wording of twelve sections and annexes of the draft agreement along with the use of terms in line with international practice of concluding intergovernmental agreements," it said.

The ministry added that the next step in preparations for signing would be the translation of the text into Ukrainian and Hebrew.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine and Israel on March 28 completed negotiations on the creation of a free trade area (FTA). The parties also approved a plan for further signing of the deal, which envisages the verification of the text of the FTA deal and its submission to the relevant authorities of both countries.
